Dancing

The thing that I mostly do with music is dancing.
I dance 5.5 hours a week. 1 hour on wednesday, 3 hours on saterday and 1.5 hours on sunday.
When I dance I dance with music on. All different kinds of music.

On Wednesday I dance on house music because I learn house dancing style. This is complete different music than that I dance on on saterday and sunday.
On Saterday I have one hour ballet, thus I dance on classical music. On Saterday I also have two hour hip hop lesson thus I dance on completly different music.

During dancing you also really need to listen to the music.
I have a dance on all the songs I mentioned, but for example listen to the song hello - beyonce. You hear all different beat and stuff in the music. Sometimes I dance according to the text, but a lot of times I have some moves on the accents.
Through dancing I really learn how to listen to music.

On Saterdays I dance at the dance acedemie Lucia Marthas.
This is the 3rd year that I'm dancing there. Every year I have an "eind presentatie".

I dance at Lucia Marthas in Amsterdam, but also in Huizen in a "wedstrijd groep".

Music class

Today during music class we got back our grades from the testweek last week.
I had an 6/8! I was really happy with that because I thought I didn't do a good job.
After we got our grades we went making our rubrics for a playing test that we have within 2 weeks. There were three groups and every group had to think of their own rubric. When everybody was ready, every group presented their rubric to the class and after that we could vote for a rubric. my group won!
Thus we got lollypops! haha :)
I just needed to tell you that! haha I was really proud of my 6/8 and the fact that the rubric from my group won!

Learned Something?

When I was looking at all those different blogs. I thought it was really fun to do.
I only looked up songs I didn't know, because of that I came to know a lot of new songs and artist that I like. I still like my music the most, haha, but I also think that I came to know some great artists. For example: the Script. I did know the band, but I never really listened to its music, or looked up his music. Now I went looking for other songs from the Script that I liked and I found a lot. Therefore I widened my music knowledge and i came to know a lot of different songs!

I think it is really cool, haha. It is something compeletly different than the other songs I mentioned on by blog sofar. This is more house. When I listened to this song I remembered that I forgot to tell you, on my blog, that I also like house a lot. I think listening to beats. Is very relaxed. Also for partys I like house a lot. This song remembered me of house again. I really liked it!

When I was on the blog of Stella, I chose to listen to this particular song. I really like it! I didn't know this song, I did know the singer, but I never listend to this singer. When I listened to this song I immediately downloaded it on Limewire, haha. I really like the fact that it is build op. It starts really peacefull, but it ends "screaming" and with hard guitar and drums on the background.

I really liked this song. Like Christine said this song is very sensible. As Christine also explained in her blog it is about a boy who thinks he isn't good enough for the girl he likes, but I does want to be hers. I really like this song alot.

I went looking to other blogs. Wn I was looking on the blog from Menno, I noticed that his favorite song was:

I never had heard of this song, nor the singer before. That is why I searched for the song on Youtube.

I don't really know how I think about this song. I like it, it has a strange beat and there is a lot of difference between a woman singing and two different rappers. But on the other hand this is very irritating. The whole time all these different things.

The thing what I noticed was that the first time that you hear the song you're listening and your thinking: ok stop, don't like it

But when you hear it more often or when you listen the song to the end I do think this song is good and nice to listen to.
